Hello All, Yes at last a few words from the Chair ( no not of wisdom )
However thanks to you all for putting me back in the chair ( I Think !!)
I would also like to extend my thanks to all that attended the AGM. Also thanks to all the other committee members, past and present.
We are at this moment trying to get a program together for next year. If you know of any body how would like to give a Talk to the Club please do let a committee member know.
Which brings me on to the Chairmans Discussion Forum on 21st Jan 2010, please come along if you can, any input from the floor is most welcome.
I would like to bring your attention to our Local UHF Repeater for a mo:
The Site Owners have fitted all users with an Electric Consumption Meter. Yes us as well. We may well get a Bill for this Installation, and the ongoing Electric Used.
So with this in mind A Bit Of A Begging Paragraph !! If you read this and are not a member of SARS but would like to donate a sum to the Repeater Fund, Please Don't hold back, this holds for Member also.
We do have a completely seperate Repeater Fund that is in place to look after Repeater and Beacon Running Costs, LH; CW; PW and GB3CLE.
I personally am more than happy to supply Equipment and my Time for free as long as is possible.
Please Help us if you can, there are a lot of external users.
I will close wishing all out there A Happy New Year. Look Forward to seeing some of you in 2010.
