Repeaters

The local repeaters

IMPORTANT:: GB3LH currently on temporary TX antenna - some coverage changes are to be expected during this period

Coverage test recordings for the 2m voice link are now concluded - thanks to all who participated.

Repeater coverage locally is good - pretty much all of the county is covered from one or more of the local repeaters. There is activity on the repaters throughout the day, but as is expected - peak usage times are usually morning / evening commute times.

Local CTCSS tone is region G - 103.5Hz

With the exception of GB3TF which is managed by the Telford club, repeaters in and around Shropshire are managed by the Repeater Managment Group, a subsection of the Salop ARS Committee.

The repeaters are funded by donations from the Shrewsbury and Powys clubs.

Please consider a suitable donation to the repeater fund if you find the repeaters in Shropshire and Powys useful as site rental and upkeep grows ever more expensive.
